Having lived pretty much all of my life in Christchurch, I was inspired by the creativity and live that emerged from the city after the 2011 earthquakes.

Seeing the city slowly rebuild and reclaim its former glory really allowed me to focus on the smaller details of the city that could have been easily missed.

In this study I created mural for the Cathedral from the very aspects it had, from the rounded arches and stone work ,to the statues that stand just meters in front of it.
