For the project of "Devoted to Printing" we had the brief of designing a printed material that both shows the works and printing capabilities of Ömür. We started the project with a smart question: "What if we approach the brochure of printing company as a design project?" The result of this question was making a book by itself! We skipped ordinary design schemes and regular brochure design principles. We played with materials, found smart headlines, designed each page with care and attention. Hence we showed a life devoted to printing.
Art of printing — at its zenith
While working for the project we made a good preliminary research to have a better understanding of our clients' expertise. Thus, we had in-depth information about printing machines, new technology in printing and the importance of human touch in every step.
Careful selection of different papers, beauty of Smyth sewn binding, using extra colours and special print applications — and finally bringing much more in one book with harmony and consistence. This surely has been an inspirational project for us!
As a printing company with the expertise over 20 years, Ömür offers services in many areas of printing and labeling businesses. Hence, we made divisions and seperations in the book to underline each category. These category breaks were made with different paper types and special printing techniques. Neon printing, embossing, silkscreen printing, foil printin any many other special purpose applications were carefully implemented into the book of Ömür.
