We are now living in an era of high, perhaps unprecedented, uncertainty. Technology is evolving faster than ever, current pandemic proves that we can’t predict what is going to happen tomorrow. And have you ever imagined what the world would look like in the year, say, 2120?
THE STORY
Who is he in 2120? Is he a human or a hybrid or a projection? I think that in 100 years people will be close to achieving immortality one way or another. Maybe it will be through genetic modification, 3D bioprinting, AI enhancements or creating hybrids and mutants. Probably people will be able to design their custom ideal body. Maybe human consciousness will be able to control multiple avatars: holograms or clones, allowing them to function in different places at the same time. Or finally, people will overcome the limits of the physical body with a mind transfer, achieving digital immortality. Maybe our definition of "Human Being" will change. Will there be a place for flaws and imperfections? If we immortalize our mind or body, what will happen to the soul? I guess you will always find it in music.
