Demolishing of HOPE Outdoor Gallery:
I came to know that the famous and historic HOPE graffiti wall will be demolished. It is heart breaking to see such fascinating art being brought down by a wrecking ball. I went to Outdoor gallery at Baylor St. in downtown Austin, Texas, with the intention to document and photograph the graffiti art on the concrete wall, but I have spent most of the time staring at the amazing art and outstanding work of street artists, luckily, I took couple of photos.
The outdoor Hope gallery has served the community, artists, art classes, art projects and tourism industry, for around 8 years. The graffiti and art work on these concrete walls is spectacular and breath taking, it was very sad to stand there knowing that it is coming to an end.
The outdoor gallery has been closed in January 2019, the good news it will be relocated to a new home for artists and arts projects.
