"JOM YUMCHA"

"Jom Yumcha" is a unique collection of brochures and sticker pack reflecting on the versatile culture and compatibility of Malaysians. “Jom Yumcha” consists of two different language which is Malay: Jom and Cantonese: Yumcha. This is a common slang that is used by most Malaysians on saying “let’s have some tea” or better known as “teatime”. 

A yumcha session is basically a common lifestyle adopted by all Malaysians regardless of their race, ethnic or gender. People would gather at Mamak stall to enjoy their tea or supper sessions while spending time with their friends over conversations. 

Mamak is actually a mix of Tamil and Islam culture and hence the food that Mamak stall serves reflect on the word Mamak itself. Varieties of sumptuous foods are served in Mamak stall such as Maggi Goreng, Roti Canai, Roti Telur and many more. The foods are made great coupled with their signature drinks such as Teh Tarik, Sirap Bandung, Milo and countless other drinks that is 
definitely able to add some flavors to the meal. 

The mamak stall is able to create a harmonious scene of Malaysians enjoying the mixed-cultural foods and drinks. People of different race and ethnic sitting together and conversing over different slangs that are understandable by each other. This is because Malaysians consist of great peoples that are able to adopt common understanding towards a diversified culture.
