ROXY + DVF
Jacks Girls / 2D Window Build
With this window opportunity at Jack's Surfboards on the busy strip of down town Huntington Beach I took a different approach to showcasing the ROXY and DVF collaboration and product launch.
Traditionally the window wraps for most brands are only 1 dimensional, flat adhesive vinyl. I wanted to do something different for the account that they had not see before with their windows. I had the idea to build out off the glass on top of the frames as well as use the glass panels behind it as a background. The giant images were actual cut outs that were direct printed and router cut. There was a base vinyl on the glass and then these images were mounted so that they crossed over frames making one big holistic image but with depth. This was a game changer for window design at this location. Soon after this window came down other surf brands started copying my idea with building in dimension.
