‘Batman: The  Animated  Series’ foi um marco na televisão, fato. Mais quais foram as obras que influenciaram o desenho do jeito que ele é? Aqui veremos brevemente as principais influências desta animação revolucionária:

As animações de Alex Toth: Alex Toth foi um dos artistas mais revolucionários do âmbito dos quadrinhos e animações, e seu traço influenciou uma dezena de artistas, como por exemplo Bruce Timm. Ele é o criador de clássicos como ‘Space Ghost’, ‘Os Hérculóides ‘e ‘Homem Pássaro e o ‘Galaxy Trio’.

Filmes Noir: Termo criado para designar os extremamente estilísticos dramas policias das décadas de  1940 e 1950, inspirado pelas literaturas hard-boiled e Pulp das décadas de 1920 e 1930. A influencia na séria não vai só na seriedade em seu tom, mas especialmente em seu visual.

Superman dos Irmãos Fleischer:  A primeira animação feita da DC Comics e também do Superman, a animação era tão boa que rivalizava com filmes de ação live actions e até mesmo a poderosa Disney. Trazendo uma forte representação da cultura pop da época,a serie em seu tom e estrutura foi a inspiração principal para o vindouro desenho do Batman.

Os filmes do ‘Batman’ de Tim Burton: O sucesso de‘Batman’ (1989) e ‘Batman – O Retorno’ (1992) trouxeram um Batman mais dark e amadurecido que fez sucesso com o publico, fazendo que a Warner procurasse investir em algo com o personagem nesse mesmo tom na TV.

'Batman: The Animated Series' was a milestone in television, fact. But what is works that influenced the show? Here we briefly show the main influences of this revolutionary animation, in ‘Batman: The Knight and his Inspirations’:

Alex Toth  Animations: Alex Toth was one of the most revolutionary artists of the scope of comics and animation, and influenced artists of all kind, such as Bruce Timm. He is the creator of classics as 'Space Ghost ',' The Herculoids' and 'Bird Man and the' Galaxy Trio'.

Film Noir:  Term created to describe the extremely stylistic police dramas of the 1940’s and 1950’s, inspired by the hard-boiled and Pulp literature from the decades of 1920 and 1930. The influence on the Batman series was not only the seriousness in his tone, but especially in his look.

Fleischer Brothers’ Superman: The first animation based on a DC Comics IP and Superman as well, the animation was so good that rivaled with live action films and even the mighty Disney. Bringing a strong representation of the pop culture of the time, the series in its tone and structure was the main inspiration for the upcoming Batman cartoon.

Tim Burton’s Batman movies: The success  of 'Batman' (1989) and 'Batman Returns' (1992) brought a more dark and mature Batman what was a hit with the public, making Warner Bros sought to invest in something with the character with that same pitch on TV.
