Hotel Puerta América, Fourth Floor

The hotel conveys similar attributes to the proposal for the vantage point in Pirrama Park, Pyrmont Sydney.  The Hotel Puerta América, Fourth Floor
Follows the themes chosen for the proposal that are lighting, framed views and non-visual features. The hotel incorporates the themes similarly as it uses lighting to show depth within the walls and the length of the walls, the lighting can also allow the form of the wall to be more noticeable.

The hotel is also very big on framed views, as the walls are working as a frame to create a view that then is seen as a framed focal point. The framed view concept in implemented within the walls looking through, and with the way each room and bathroom is designed to create a framed view.

The next theme is non-visual features, the features consist of the human senses apart from the ability to see. This can allow visitors to truly understand the building through the use of touch to feel the form and the materials alongside its textures, the way the hotel sounds when not being able to see, the different smells the materials have and how it sounds whilst walking through the halls.
