FOLK TALES OF INDIA

This film is an abridged version of the famous folktale from Assam about an elephant who wanted some water. Little did the thirsty elephant know that his search would change everything. A greedy crocodile, and a drought stretching across, are just some of the obstacles facing the elephant.
Style of this folktale has been inspired from The Hastividyārnava, written by Sukumar Barkaith one of the best known illustrated manuscripts of Assam.
