This zine is dedicated to 4 soviet postmodern quarters in Podil district in Kyiv. It consists of 3 blocks: the comics telling stories about how citizens are influencing and changing the place that they are living at; the coloring book with the particular buildings from that district; short historical and theoretical information.
The typeface Misto that I used was created by ukranian graphic designer Kateryna Korolevsteva. She brought an inspiration from the late soviet modernist architecture of Ukrainian town Slavutych. That architecture creates a perfect rhyme with the architecture of Podil.
