faim: find healthy on-campus food at Carnegie Mellon
Faim is a WebApp that allows Carnegie Mellon students to have more convenient access to healthier on-campus foods that fit their dietary preferences, needs, and restrictions.
Key Features:
Users can build personalized eating profiles by selecting preferences and food restrictions, such as diet (vegan, vegetarian, keto), allergies, and preferred calorie intake. Based on this profile, the website will display foods that fit the user’s choices.

Users can easily find/search any building or eatery on campus by using the search bar, finding eateries based on the buildings they are located in, or scrolling through the list of buildings which are organized based on proximity.

Each food option displayed at each eatery includes detailed descriptions of nutritional information, including calorie count and ingredients, so that the user can easily make healthy choices when eating on campus.

Users can edit their preferences whenever they would like by simply going to “settings” in the hamburger menu.
