This all seems like a terrible nightmare, every day when I open my eyes the nightmare continues. A few minutes go by and I remind myself that I'm not alone, we are all dealing with the situation, we must come together, in our homes, to protect others, the vulnerable, our loved ones, and overcome this global issue.
The sense of frustration, anxiety and all other emotions that being away from the outside world might trigger can't overpower our desire to reconnect, find community and support each other. Finding ways to stay together while apart, realizing how important touch and human connection are. 
Cloistered is inspired on the current global pandemic, sheltering in place due to COVID-19.

A few years ago, when I recorded this material, it didn't make any sense, didn't understand why I had this idea in my head. After a couple of weeks of being at home in San Francisco, I revisited the recordings and It all came together.
