The Forgettable History of Us

The Forgettable History of Us is a project rising from the question
"What happen to the photos that we never look at again after taking them? "

The project asked 10 people to contribute each 50 unwanted photos from their smart phones. Four main categories and five sub-categories were formed to make it possible to re-look at these photos again, using an emotionless view, a total objective stand.

I am curious what memory could be triggered, what thoughts might be provoked upon the time that we are asked to go back a bit into the past time, try to think about: what was the weather like on that day? was I happy or sad? was I with anybody and who were they? why did I make this photo?......

The ultimate goal is for whoever that is reading through the book, by looking into these strangers' to receive a sense of self-communion, this should be a private conversation towards the inner self, while the motives of our photographs are maybe the best symbols of our interpretation towards the outer world.
