Our concept
Ourice is a brand identity of Vietnamese rice paper, which has been brainstormed since 2018 with the vision to change the plastic packaging of traditional rice paper. To reduce plastic waste, Ourice re-designs the packaging from environmentally friendly paper materials.
Our story
Aiming to convey the environmental message from our perspective, Ourice is named by combining the word Our as the adjective + rice as the noun for the common raw material to create rice paper "Ourice - Our Stories". Ourice packaging is designed to match the cuisine style used in the kitchen, mixing a partial vibe of other Asian countries like Korea, Japan. Ourice in neutral and in graphics remind us of the delicacy of packaging manufacturing process and product quality - the traditional food source.
The packaging consists of two types of rice paper: thin and thick, which is suitable for family meals or fast food processing from the same ingredients such as spring rolls, mixed rice paper, tokbokki, etc.
Most of Ourice's publications use papier calque paper that has high penetration, lightness, durability for preservation, as well as the overall visual of the brand identity inspired by the rice paper dried on the Phên Tre.
