Chocolate packaging with a second life for Japanese market.

2020
Designers: Fernando Suárez | Ero Suárez | Cristina Rama
Natra, a Spanish company based in Valencia wants to enter at the Japanese market with a box for 6 chocolates.
They are looking to create a packaging with added value. Furthermore, as is well known, there must be a minimum consumption of resources, reducing material consumption and ink consumption.
As designers, we are looking for this product to have a second life and, to do so, we are looking for options.
We had a very clear idea from the beginning. We wanted to design a package that, after its main use, would serve as a support for charging the smartphone, and as a smartphone support.
We also had to design the packaging graphics. To do this, we started with the brand logo "The Real" and created a composition consistent with the brand and the country where it will be marketed.
We combined cocoa leaves with cocoa beans and a series of Japanese letters from the word recycle me. To finish this composition, we added a texture to the bottom of the packaging.
Finally, nutritional and other necessary information is located on the bottom of the package.
