The heart of the series centers around love at the 90’s. The world of Love 101 takes us on a journey where both the students and the teachers discover true love and all the emotions which comes with it. As the characters focus on their own motivations, we see them discover how every touch, word, and action sparks unexpected love.

It’s a story of discovering the self through love. It evokes emotional nostalgia for the Turkish audience by using the 90’s. We wanted to establish Love 101 as the first must-see YA show out of Turkey that you won’t be able to stop watching.

According to our research, TV shows and pop pop culture magazines were dominated the 90’s. So we reflected those days by using a grunge yellow, placing logo at the floor as in the street arts perpectives. At the end, we focused on the cast like in the all posters of the 90’s.

Because of the quarantine days, we were not able to organize an outdoor premiere but we organized a special broadcast for Love 101 as we called it Love 101 Special (Aşk 101 Özel). We designed Netflix as a TV channel like in the 90’s. The cast joined several programmes in the concept of love, musics of the 90s, freedom & rebellion. We shared it on Netflix Türkiye YouTube profile.

We created a timeless nostalgia glam shoot with the talents. We used the color and effects of the 90’s and also used today’s outfit. Then we used the photos as a cover at the most popular magazines in Turkey.
