Jan Barba is created by two people: Marta Grzebisz and Bartosz Puzio.
The brand represents their way to make a part of a world on their own rules - the part that cares of the others and ecology. They have manufactured and cultivated the best craft traditions since 2016. Usually they make natural cosmetics but also perfumes.
This time the ”SÉRAIL" scent was a scope of our work.

My part of work was to show the mood and spirit of these perfumes through visual narration.
We talked about oriental palace, harem and pieces of fine art.
Also I received these perfumes to smell so I could imagine more of this magical, oriental place. The sand and warm wind...

Creators describe their perfumes in these words:
The name SÉRAIL derives from Persian sara’i (سرای) which means oriental palace.
Our perfumes SÉRAIL are a classic perfumes with wooden – oriental and warm sensual notes, reminding about Turkish baths and after bath oils. First perfumes of this kind were made by Guerlain and named „Shalimar” in 1921. It contained synthetic vanilla and coumarin.
SÉRAIL is 100% natural. Natural etheric oils and absolutes make perfumes deep and create atmosphere of a rich Persian residence – fulfilled by scent of flower petal, wood incense and Middle Eastern seasonings by the day as well as reminding of sensuality and nudeness of bliss chambers and body oils by the night.
