Based out of Dartford, serving Kent and the wider South East London area, JP Contractors is a contracting firm that delivers high specification, high quality commercial and domestic construction projects to a vast number of clients ranging from property investors to new business start-ups to local government departments.
As part of a brand refresh, I was being tasked to update and modernise the original JP Contractors logo, which was being used since 1992, for 2019.
To make the logo instantly recognisable, we decided to keep it simple, with a familiar design that blends in the concept of the previous logo with a modern twist. We also updated the fonts to a more minimal and clean type that looks good, and feels solid. This creates a unified visual identity system that feels Simple, Modern yet Familiar.
