Old fashioned modern love
We tool as our main inspiration the concept of love through the cinema films have exemplified what love is through iconic couples, actions, and scenarios. that's the old-fashioned part, which is still valid, but we also want to show other faces of love that have more to do with self-empowerment.
La La Land, for instance, proves that love also means letting go allowing your loved one to be him/herself and accept that loving somebody doesn't mean forgetting about your hopes and dreams; that's the modern part of the story.
We want to give the collage technique a modern perspective but want to keep its dynamism, to make that happen, we will focus on our backgrounds and font shapes, plus the animations to create an overall festival-like style, which brings the energy Galantis usually has. We chose this technique because we want to show the romantic side of love, as explained on the concept and the modern part through compositions that lead the viewer from an emotional point to an energetic one.
