RIOT’s task was to build its first own product – a mobile-first digital marketplace connecting customers with beauty professionals in the most convenient way.
INTRODUCTION
biuti.pl is a mobile-first digital marketplace connecting customers with beauty professionals through a mobile app. Thanks to a unique business model, customers order beauty services directly to their homes at affordable prices.
PROJECT
Since the very beginning, biuti.pl was meant to be a brand that resonates rather with women following #girlpower hashtag than typical Insta queens. The massive use of holographic patterns, strong typography, and bold graphite accents – it all screams: yes, I know what I want!
OUTCOME
Thorough user research answered all of the most important questions concerning women’s needs: they needed user-friendly mobile app enabling them to order beauty services in a few clicks, any time, anywhere.
Being bootstrapped early-stage start-up, we managed to figure out a clever way to make out the most of the tiny budget – PWA & React Native. Using both let us reduce time-to-market and provide close-to-native experience to our customers.
After just six months of operating, biuti.pl was named a Women Brand of the Year 2019 in Poland.
