SITUATION BEFORE
The apartment looked like this before the start of the design project. We combined the kitchen and living room with a small but wide loggia. To combine this spaces, the outer part of the room was insulated.

CONCEPT
The MJK apartment is situated in Minsk, Belarus. It was designed for a young couple with two children. Initially, the apartment did not have any partitions, so we were able to take into account all the wishes of the customer. Thus, we designed an apartment in which there are a large living room combined with a kitchen, a children's room, bathroom, a bedroom with wardrobe and pantry.
To lit the hallway It was decided to make doors with frosted glass through which light can pass. It also gave an apartment more spacious and airy feeling. The shlving system in living room hides doors to WC and storage room.
The project mainly uses simple materials such as plywood, parquette flooring, porcelain stoneware. The main colour is white. This color is great as a base color. And in combination with other colors helps to achieve an exclusive interior. We combined the homogeneous White walls together with the plywood, satin steel and watercolour shades. One of the features is the use of watercolor shades that could be closed around the perimeter, which creates an interesting effect of softness and comfort.
The other feature is use of custom made furniture. An MJK chair, sofa, bed, lamps near bed and all cabinet furniture was specially designed for this project.
