Glasbena šola “Risto Savin” Žalec is a music school in Slovenia. They want to remain an established, socially responsible carrier of music education. The work of the school is recognized for its quality and excellent educational work. They want to awaken in people the need to engage with culture and to educate amateur musicians, whether performers or listeners.
The objective was to provide “Risto Savin” Žalec with a strong brand and a dynamic logo that could be identified during its public speaking engagements.
A new graphic design to revive music
The aim was to build a colorful and dynamic brand. We tried to announce that the music is alive and in between us. The logo idea was created by two symbols, with a smile and a note. When we put them together, we get the sign of the music, right? We were playing with different kinds of graphic elements as a line, a bridge, and a circle. The results merged with interesting icons and illustrations and in the end, with a brand mascot of music school.
As we can see on the different types of prints and digital platforms, all the graphic elements are playful and look like we are having an unforgettable concert. Our mission was completed, we have acquired a recognizable and visible visual identity.
The idea of design
The idea of the logo was inspired by a child smile. When we connect a smile and a musical note, it reminds us of an honest children’s laugh.
