Lana Del Ray, also known as AKA Lizzy Grant, is the first official record of American songstress Lana Del Rey. Scrapped after very little time on shelves, it depicts a lush musical landscape, imprinted with americana vibes, exploring coast to coast the burning palm trees, the decaying trailer parks, the vintage cars, the sleazy gas stations and the grey skyscrapers.
For the album's ten years anniversary, I wanted to revisit an old project of mine and present my vision of this beautiful piece.
This box set and the vibe of it are inspired by Lana's box set for Ultraviolence. The cover stems from a screen cap of the Santa Monica wheel featured in Ultraviolence's trailer.
