DHC Films is an audiovisual production company and their aim with this project was to create a new visual language in their digital products and communication. The values the brand wants to transmit are equality between workers and professionalism. With that goal in mind, Ma-terra has created a new logo for them that develops a dynamic language. The main source of inspiration were the technical problems and glitches of the classic VHS technology.
This new language has been applied to different formats, in them is possible to observe the dynamism of it. The most important mediums for this are the Web, where the intention was to kind of evoque video camera interfaces. And the businesscards, all different but similar, where a different version of the symbol is given to each crew member.
DHC Films es una productora audiovisual y su objetivo era crear un nuevo lenguaje visual en sus productos digitales y comunicación. Los valores de esta marca son la igualdad entre trabajadores y la profesionalidad. Con ese objetivo en mente, ma-terra ha creado un nuevo logotipo que trata de desarrollar un lenguaje dinámico. Se ha inspirado en los problemas técnicos del VHS clásico.
Este nuevo lenguaje se ha aplicado a diferentes soportes, en ellos se puede observar el dinamismo de este. Los más importantes en este caso son la web, en ella se ha tratado de evocar las interfaces de las cámaras de grabación. Y las tarjetas de visita, todas ellas diferentes, otorgando un valor del símbolo a cada miembro del equipo.
