Pump for air conditioning
Problem
In this project, the task was to change the body part in connection with a change in production technology (previously this assembly unit filled with a compound under low pressure).
Along the way, it was necessary to solve the problem of maintaining the stylistic unity of the company's product family, as well as competitive advantages such as overall dimensions
low vibration during operation and simplicity of design (as a result of the simplicity of tooling = cheap).
What is done
1. The arrangement of the internal components (with minor modifications).
2. Design of body parts in accordance with the requirements.
The final decision of the design project is a case in the form of two parallelepipeds connected, the lower one has a transition-bias characteristic of this family of company products.
At the junction of the engine with the housing, silicone rings were used as a damper. The contrast of these rings is also supposed to emphasize the color scheme.
The half-shells are attached to each other using internal hooks on the principle of friction,
which does not lead to a rise in the cost of the mold, and will allow you to save small overall dimensions. This mount is securely duplicated by a screw, which in turn will be hidden behind the label.
The end faces received characteristic chamfers framing the product.
Additionally eyelets were added for fixing the product using mounting clamps.
