Sunlight Clock

This is my graduation project in May 2019.
周末的午后，你坐在书房或看书或忙于工作。写字台旁有扇窗户，阳光透过窗户照在地板上。时间慢慢地走，阳光悄悄地从地板上爬上了你的写字台，又悄悄地顺着写字台滑到了墙上。你向着阳光伸出了手，却什么都摸不着，也捉不住。时间越来越晚，你看着那道阳光越来越远，越来越暗，直至消失不见。
On a weekend afternoon, you sit in the study or read a book or are busy at work. There was a window next to the desk, and the sunlight shines on the floor through the window. Time is slowly going. The sunlight quietly climbed up your writing desk from the floor and slipped quietly down the desk to the wall. You put your hand out to the sunlight, but you can't touch anything, you can't catch. Time is getting late, you watch the sunlight more and more far, more and more dark, until it disappears.
在快节奏的生活中，时间是造成压力的因素之一。人们需要获知准确的时间，几点上班，几点开会。但是在休息的时间里，独处的时间里，准确的时间是否依旧重要？如果人们可以不再注意时间，忘记时间，或者是不去获取确切的时间，内心是否会因此变得平静？我做出了一个尝试，做一个不能告知确切时间的时钟。
In a fast life, time is one of the factors that cause stress. People need to know accurate time, time to work, time for meetings. But in people's rest time, in people's time alone, is the accurate time still important? If people can stop paying attention to time, or not to pass the exact time, will the heart become calm? I made an attempt to make a clock that could not tell the exact time.
Inspiration
阳光照在墙上时，光的角度和位置会随着时间的变化而不断变化。
As the sun shines on a wall, the angle and position of the light are displayed and constantly changing.
如果这个时候有人在墙壁上写上数字，是不是就很像一个钟呢?
If someone writes a number on the wall at this time, it's like a clock.
Sunlight + Concrete Wall
我用一个很简单的形体，简单到不会引人注目，一个立方体混凝土，就是包围着我们的这些建筑最基本的组成部分。像在墙上打开一扇窗户一样，我在方形混凝土上打开了一条缝，从里面可以透出一道光。随着时间的变化，光会改变其照射的角度。
I use a very simple shape, so simple that it won't stand out, a cube of concrete that is the most basic part of the building that surrounds us. Like opening a window on the wall, I opened a crack in the cube of concrete, from which I could see a light. As time goes on, light changes the angle of its exposure.
Instructions for use
在桌子上画上时间轴，以小时为单位，或者随自己的心情，写上看书、音乐、运动或者冥想。
Draw a timeline on the desk, in hours, or according your mood, write dwon reading, music, exercise, or meditation.
Making
1. 将混凝土倒入外模具。
2. 将内模具向外模具挤压。
3. 挤压至上盖板与外模具接触，保持固定。
1. Pour the concrete into the outer mold.
2. Apply pressure to squeeze the inner mold into the outer mold.
3. When the overlay plate is in contact with the outer mold, keep it fixed.
干燥后取出混凝土立方体，装入内部电路结构。
After drying, take out the concrete cube and install the internal circuit into the cube.
Final
最后的成品，为了方便演示，我加快了播放速度。
The final product, in order to facilitate the demonstration, I accelerated the playback speed.
