And, Goodnight
"And, Goodnight" is actually a song called "Sleeper" off of Ty Segall's same titled album in 2013. In 2018, when the album "Freedom's Goblin" was released, a 12 minute version of "Sleeper" also came out under the name "And, Goodnight" with long and amazing electric guitar solos. The song is written by Mikal Cronin, Emmett Kelly, Ben Boye and Charles Moothart.
When the first time I came across the song, I truly enjoyed it. I've found so many things from myself within lyrics and instrumental parts that eventually I decided to make a drawing of it. That was nearly four months ago. Since then, I was working on it passionately.
To me "And, Goodnight" is a tale about a man, who loves a woman and sleeping. For this man the woman he loves is the most precious thing in his life. And sleeping is the second thing he values the most among everything. And without doubt, sleeping with the woman he loves is eternally beautiful for him. Drifting between dreams, sharing a night, even a day of sleep is priceless.
I've tried to make it seem like a photo clip. To give this impression, drawing it like a comic book page seemed like the best way to me.
