The Interdisciplinary Design Studies (now known as Foundations in Design) at Kwantlen Polytechnic University was the program I attended prior to GDMA.It is a one year certificate program that offers a foundation study inthe broad field of design. The program cover items such as designhistory to career/education exploration, drawings to drafting, 2Ddesigns and 3D designs.
The Year End Grad Show (YES!) was anexhibition showcasing the projects we had undertaken in the year. Itwas open to all Kwantlen students, faculty & staff, secondaryschool students, teachers and counsellors.
I was asked to design promotional posters for the event that notonly will attract readers’ attention but also give the readers(especially potential future students) a glimpse of what we did duringthe year. The images in the posters were part of a 3D design projectstudents worked on in the program.
