F—POW Lunar New Year Packets
The design is inspired by an edgy, stylistic mix of vintage retro toys and the iconic Japanese fortune cat, “Maneki-neko”. What resulted is a boldly expressive tongue-in-cheek set of money packets to usher in the much-anticipated year of the Rat.
Bonus: Interactive element We've added a fun, interactive element to the packets to reflect the multiple, ever-evolving goals or aspirations as one progresses throughout the year.
Design 1: Gratifyingly Comfortable Rat 大翻鼠 / 鼠鼠福福
The Chinese word 舒服（Shūfú）means comfortable. Using word and phonetic play, we replaced 舒服（Shūfú）with 鼠福 （Shǔ fú），鼠 being rat and 福 meaning blessing.
Design 2: Explosively Fortuitous Rat 大砲鼠
大砲 (Dàpào) means cannon/fireworks. Bang-bang, pow-pow — these sounds are often heard ringing throughout the lunar new year as we chase away misfortunes of the yesteryear and start afresh with full force and positive energy.
