Mendocino is a quaint coastal town along the Pacific Ocean in Northern California.

You'll find an abundance of historic water towers, some still in use to this day while others have been converted into decks and living quarters. 

Take a walk through the colorful neighborhoods filled with Victorian-turned-beach houses and other unique architectures.

Soak in the vibrantly colored succulents while you stroll along the beautiful trails next to the ocean. Visiting in the fall makes for a spectacular sight of reds, yellows, oranges and greens.

You'll find several places to stop and take in the scenic cliff overlooks.

Visiting on a windy day is your best bet for viewing the crashing waves.

Make your way to Mendocino Headlands State Park, only a few minutes north of the town, to see some truly stunning rock formations.
