Ono što Srbija ne vidi
What Serbia doesn't see, a human trafficking campaign

Human trafficking is a global problem and one of the world's most shameful crimes, affecting the lives of millions of people around the world and robbing them of their dignity. Traffickers deceive women, men and children from all corners of the world and force them into exploitative situations every day.
Serbia became the country of origin, transit and destination for victims of human trafficking. Since 2008, almost half of human trafficking in Serbia is internal.

Research

The aim of this campaign is to teach people how to recognize all aspects of human trafficking and to socially engage in the fight against this type of crime.
The target audience is unemployed men and women searching for jobs across the country, people who are willing to accept suspicious job offers, due to poor material status, and anyone who is gullible, naive or insufficiently informed about this issue.

Poster

After putting the list of keywords alongside moodboard that was made up of mostly black and white images, the idea was to somehow unite all aspects of human trafficking in one picture - sexually & work exploitation, child trafficking and other. The tone had to be serious, so I opted for a monochromatic colour scheme, consisting of different shades of grey. The dolls' body parts looked creepy enough to get your attention and I added a barcode to connect it with the campaign's logo, which I previously designed.
When I was experimenting with colours, I really liked when I put shades next to each other because it kinda reminded me of progress scale, where black represents 'what Serbia doesn't see' and the aim of the campaign is to raise awareness and turn on the light. So I used that as a decorative element to the poster.

Flyer

The flyer follows the same idea with some additional information. The front looks almost the same as the poster, but when you open it up I wanted to create the feeling like you're diving into the problem, so I used floating body parts as a background image and centrepiece of the flyer, while information is divided into two paragraphs on each side.
When you fold it once, there are some statistics presented with small icons on a lighter background to distinguish it as additional information, and the back is almost empty with just contact details.
