Pendant / Portable with Emergency Button
In case of emergencies, the product carries a pendant that can automatically call to a fixed number for help. The format of a pendant was considered in various angles. A clamp style that can be clamped on clothes and clipper that can be clipped on clothes. The clipper form has extra space for a rope or string that could be formed into necklace.
Cordless Telephone / Big Button and Soft Grip
With cordless phone, the firm grip plays a huge role in terms of designing the phone while the speakers were enhanced bigger with bigger buttons that had more concave touch for the easy use of elderly.
Corded Telephone / Big and Photo Direct Button
For elderly with decreasing memory, it is harder for them to remember contact numbers therefore to facilitate these problems the use of icons or pictures on fixed-line telephones were designed. Also big font size and big button size are designed for deteriorating eyesight.

Firstly, the entire careline product’s buttons have been made big for the elderly to easily touch and use.
Second, the products are designed in soft shapes for better tactual usage.
Thirdly, by making a pendant or picture buttons in telephones, elderly can easily contact to a fixed number in one button in case of emergency.

Since the reduction of telephones and educational toy markets, based on Vetch’s technologies the company has expanded towards newer markets of bluetooth and baby monitors. In near future, the company will target the growing elderly population and produce products for them. The question of fast and easily useable products that can be helpful to elders was asked upon designers. Careline is phone and pendant products that are devoted to help the elderly.
