The Count of Monte Cristo
This was an assignment to contemporise a book.
I chose to do The Count of Monte Cristo as a 10 part newspaper printed series.
Had to work a lot with the typography, to get it how i wanted, but after getting the newspaper back from the printers, I wasn't really satisfied with the results, and decided to redesign the cover and change the paper quality but kept the typographic treatment for the most part.

New cover, tried to make it more contemporary and added illustration and a new color scheme. (The character was heavil influenced by a character i saw on Invisible Creature's webpages.)
