Sky Studies
We see them everyday on instagram stories and photography blogs. For some reason we can't get enough of them: Every time light refracts in the sky at dawn or dusk, we feel like seeing those colors for the first time. In this project, I try to capture that dream-like feeling using Keyshot, a 3D rendering software.
As designers, we often turn to design blogs for inspiration in our creative process. This results in a lot of "self-referencing" design :Ā stagnant. Here, I propose an approach that takes into consideration social media behaviour, fine arts, film, literature, and photography, in order to elevate virtual imagery and turn onĀ a very specific emotional cue in our collective imagination.
Yes, I realise how pretentious that sounds.
