"Sincere and brutal" is how Arancha Mateos, fashion designer, defines her work. Inspired by brutalist architecture, she launched "Brutal y Sincera" in 2018, a collection designed for her TFE. 

Brutalism not only inspires this one-off collection but perfectly defines her sincere work in her day-to-day life. 

Sincerity is not about covering the failures or hiding the traps. It's brutal and sincere to expose the beams of a building, the bare unpainted walls, the seams of the hem... and therefore the grid of the design.
