RIOT's task was to create branding and e-commerce website that captures the unique, arty, and cool spirit of Her Clique concept.
INTRODUCTION
Her Clique was founded by Izabela Depczyk and based in Warsaw. It is a space created for learning about and shopping for collectible items personalized by contemporary artists. Her Clique wanted to own a platform to share their passion for art. They knew exactly who they wanted to reach, and they needed RIOT to channel their unique vibe into a place on the web that connects artists with people interested in art, culture and social impact.
PROJECT
We had two main goals in that project: to create cohesive branding and an e-commerce website. Both of them must appeal to Her Clique’s very precise target: the global Gen Z HENRYs who – with their discretionary income, willingness to both try new products and recommend them to their friends – are a perfect match for that brand.
OUTCOME
We learned all about their vision on a branding workshop. The mix of our ideas and perspectives resulted in two creative concepts: both of them were deeply rooted in the 90’s esthetics. We ended up combining both of these concepts which left us with that cool 90’s elemets and minimalistic vibe that allows the art to be the focal point of the website, without unnecessary distractions. The design complements the artworks but it is more than just a background: it’s strong, distinguishable and pugnacious
We used the responsive web design approach while creating the website. Knowing that Gen Z prefers mobile phones over computers, so content, design, and performance had to provide a seamless experience across all devices.
We decided to implement Shopify ecommerce platform underneath, well-acknowledged both by users and business owners and very easy to use. We were also responsible for creative coding of the website.
