The Basic School (TBS) is a six-month long period of instruction where newly commissioned officers in the United States Marine Corps gain introductory infantry skills and tactics to become provisional rifle platoon commanders, leading upwards of 50 Marines. These were some maps, fire plan sketches, with supplementary notes I did for various tactical decision games and operations orders. I graduated with Bravo Co 2-20. My intent is for future LTs/company-grade officers/leaders of Marines to find this useful in understanding lethal fires for when they attend TBS in Quantico, Virginia.
