Due to the coronavirus crisis personal safety has become an urgent topic to everyone, but for victims of racial discrimination this is a constant struggle. Racism and segregation harm and kill many people worldwide on a daily basis. Right now many of us can’t be physically close to each other, but we can use hard moments like this to reflect and connect to each other in our hearts.

March 21st is International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. May this terrible times be a reminder that we’re, in fact, responsible for each other’s safety. Respect. Empathize. Fight discrimination. Stand against racism. Being is not enough if we don’t honor the positive meaning of the word “human”.
