Hallmark Cards (Selected Works)

Below is selected work from my time at Hallmark Cards (2016-2017).
Hallmark Itty Bittys®.
Itty Bittys® is a series of plush dolls from Hallmark. From baby products to adults, these endearing products vary in characters from various licensed properties, such as Marvel Studios, DC Comics, Disney to Hallmark’s very own properties. To show the range of products, I have been working on the campaign that highlights products available within the Itty Bittys® range. Working with a copywriter on the team, we co-wrote a video concept for the Itty Bitty® Baby (Disney and DC comics) products for the Hallmark Ideas and Inspiration web page and other social media channels. I also got the opportunity to work with some talented video,
art and casting directors and be a part of the shoot. Emails with offers and new product launches are also a part of the bigger picture. Every month, Social Media assets are created for the Hallmark Facebook and Instagram pages.
Time-line: Video Concept to Delivery - 2 weeks. Emails- Half a day. Social Media Assets- Half a day (working with photographers)

Hallmark Keepsakes.
Although the Keepsake Ornament Club is all about Christmas, the club is active all-year-round. Hallmark releases several new ornaments at different times of the year. As a part of the campaign, marketing materials include “Dreambook”– catalogue of products produced once a year, “For Keeps”– a quarterly direct mail newsletter, several email campaigns to promote products and KOC events.

#lovealways Brand Campaign.
When I started at Hallmark, the Creative Marketing Studio was the internal agency that was pitching for the Brand Communication Campaign account. Several other agencies were invited to pitch for the project as well. It was an exciting time to be a part of the team, and with all hands needed on deck, I got the opportunity to style the look-and-feel (colors, patterns etc.) and design swag for the #LoveAlways campaign. Love Always focused on everyday gestures of kindness that contribute to larger impacts of our current troubled world. One of the tactics included the concept of “Care-a-Van” which would make trips to parts of the city, interact with people and reward those who participated in random acts of kindness, with some swag.
---
Internal Communication.
Once in a while, I get to work on internal marketing projects such as invites, posters and other communication for programs and events. These projects are eventually clubbed together and live as a campaign within the walls of the department. With no set guidelines for visual styles and language, I take these opportunities to explore and hone my hand-lettering and illustration skills.
Thank you!
