REDO
Lifestyle Magazine
The briefing was to create not only the visual but also the textual content for a new lifestyle magazine, name it and then design its layout. Collectively, we decided that the editorial direction was going to be about the color red, or related to it, hence the chosen name: REDO.
The solution was meant to highlight the imagery of the different articles — Architecture, Cinema, Fashion, Sports, among others —, complementing it with the constant presence of the color red. In order to enhance its tones in the images but also to visually unify this big variety of thematics, through its colored margins, as one single magazine.
"Talking about the “colour red” is almost a redundancy.
Red is the colour by excellence, the archetypical, the first of all colours."
Michel Pastoureau in “Dictionary of the Colours of Our Time”
