器 基 陶 窯 | QIQIDOYO
'器 基 陶 窯 (QIQIDOYO)' is a ceramic studio opened in Yeonhui-dong, Seoul, 2020. ‘器’ means ‘bowl’, ‘基’ means ‘place’, ‘陶’ means ‘pottery’ and ‘窯’ means ‘kiln’. ‘器’ and ‘基’ are read and written in the same English notation ‘QI’, and ‘器基' means 'place to make a bowl', '基器’ means ‘basic bowl’. I made a logo and graphic motif by paying attention to the characteristics that make sense even when turned upside down and the characteristics of the brand name where the word 'QI' is repeated.
