DARE THE FIRE
a fantasy project by RUBEN
"DARE THE FIRE" is the concept for a fantasy class project created with the prompt of using body painting as the main element for an advertising poster.
The brand I wanted to work with for the project was Takis and after doing some research I came up with my concept "Dare the fire" and my final visual idea. I chose to keep the color palette of the Takis bags design and give my poster a fantasy/pop and impactful look.
I represented, through body painting, a set of flames coming out of the bag and embodying the person eating the takis. Using the body painting technique for the flames gave the fire concept some realism without taking out the cartoonish / fantasy style.
