Glassboard
Internship at Designflyover
A mobile, modular, magnetic, Glassboard for collaborative work-spaces which also serves as a partitioning system. Its uniquely designed asymmetric leg enables it to be arranged in various configurations according to the needs, along other glassboards, which is not possible in other products.
The project went around with identifying office setup requirements and opportunities, with the help of a few visits, and then further an analysis of market and competitor offerings which shaped the ideation and later the client's capabilities and strengths helped in the finalization of the concept and its detailing.
When not in use the Glassboards can be stacked together, occupying negligible amount of space.
Multiple Glassboards can be arranged perpendicularly to each other, due to the asymmetrical nature of the leg. Normal boards cannot be arranged perpendicularly to each other due to the regular T-shaped legs. As offices often require quick private cubicles or even simple division of areas, this feature comes handy.
The Glassboard has a Galvanized Iron sheet inter-layer sandwiched between the two glass pieces, making it magnetic.
