Students imagine they are hired as in-house animator at a new television network. This network shows a wide variety of programming, and is still finding its voice in the crowded media market. Students are asked to animate a short (10-20 sec) station ID or “bumper” animation that will play periodically between shows or in front of a particular program block to satisfy FCC regulations, give a sense of personality, and look wicked cool.
