Stayfree Package Redesign

Project Overview
A self initiated project which was was aimed at creating a sustainable Package System for Stayfree Pads. I created a new Stayfree Organic altogether, replacing the plastic packets with box board and a dispenser style package. The design was kept simple, using original brand color in a contrast Triad, and adding visuals to match the modern packaging design.
Package System
The primary idea was to  develop a sustainable packaging structure which can be hanged in the bathroom itself and removes hustle of hiding the pads in bags and clothes. Thus, inspired from tissue box packaging I created this dispenser style box for the pads which eliminates the scope of other pads getting dirty in process of taking one out. The pads come in pouches which can be used to dispose off the previously used pad.

The visual design is a simple leaf form to show the green factor of the Packaging and the simplicity of the design allows the customer to confidently place it in their shelves, without having to hide the pads. Thus, reducing the stigma created around it.

The packaging was designed in order to solve the following problems- Plastic Waste, Difficult Disposal, Stigma of Menstruation products.
Pull Sticker to cover perforated space and avoid the pouches from falling
Perforations at bottom, to achieve minimal contact with other pouches and the box in itself.
Dispenser Box Pack is an ergonomic design, making it easier for the customer to use the product.
Thanks for watching!
