Postcards are one of the most common methods of promotion for any place. To create promotional material for Kanchipuram, a simple set of postcards would have been very basic, thus, "Make your own" postcard set for Kanchipuram Saris was made.
These postcards consist of illustrations of women dressed in Kanchipuram saris that can be coloured and then decorated using stickers of the various Kanchipuram motifs.

The illustrations for the postcards were inspired by the women of Kanchipuram and how traditional Kanchipuram Saris are worn.

The purpose of these postcards was to make something new that people remember and enjoy. This will help give them an experience and also a better understanding of the colours and motifs of Kanchipuram.
