Uncle - A Vietnamese folktale
My project for "Heritage magazine" - "Folktale". As this is a folktale, I tried to do my research and bring many Vietnamese traditional elements into the illustration. The story's background is in the forest, so I added many natural elements, especially Vietnamese rainforest creatures. For the illustration, I used pencil and oil pastel brush. The story was published in 2 different versions: a bilingual English-Vietnamese version for all domestic and international flights and a Japanese version for Japanese flights.
