I came across with Germaine Greer’s book: Shakespeare’s Wife, where she tries a different approach towards Ann Hathaway. Greer desconstrcuts the outmoded male assumptions about Ann by showing how they are mere prejudiced suppositions from the writers themselves.
Greer clearly assumes a feminist position and tries to empower the figure of Ann Hathway. This project is a serie of collages which tries to re-arrange Shakespeare´s sonet 145 to extract alternative perspectives.
We can see how diferent perspectives can be easily made. We shouldn’t follow and accecpt only one point of view which limitate us but embrace as many as possible.
