Do you know Marceline Bedard, here represented in my illustration posing for a cover? :)
She is a key figure in the "Medusa's Coil" novel (by H.P.Lovecraft with Z.B.Bishop) and famous for her beautiful, dark, long hair possessed by a real serpentine vitality. Also, she presents herself as a reincarnation of the mystical Tanit-Isis, connected with the ancient myths of Babylon, Atlantis, Lemuria and Berenice's Hair constellation... But I've already said too much now ;)
