Original concept and starting place. Decided the lines were too inconsistent and all over the place. 

Rough Draft 1. Began to initiate rules and guides into the letters. The solid parts of the letter were made blue (as you can see, I missed a few in this draft). The green and orange were assigned as striped colors. In the original concept, the lines were all over the place, and I wanted to make bring down their range. 

Experiments, alternates, rejects. 

A variation I ended up choosing over the other. At this point, I decided I needed to change a couple of things with the lines to create more consistency.
